Polyester Material Options

Thinking of the function of your product will help you determine the best type of material to use for your labels, decals and overlays. If your product has a high touch point that requires constant flexing, pushing and dimensional stability such as an ATM or kitchen appliance, polyester would be your best bet.

Polyester material is an excellent choice for high-temperature resistance and exposure to outdoor elements. It also offers resistance to abrasion and scratches, chemicals and corrosive material. It is not flexible but able to withstand some degree of curvature, making it a great choice for outdoor and heavily used products. A common brand name for polyester is Mylar.
